Due to the amount of editing required in a 60+ shot trailer compared to the 30-odd shot film opening from last year we are attempting to get all filming done before the end of the Christmas holidays, leaving us weeks available of editing when we get back to school. Because of this our choice of actors and actresses has been limited to those who are not going away over the holiday. Luckily, our main protagonist is not going on vacation and because of this it opens up many more options as to filming dates. The first of these is the 6th and 7th of December, being the weekend before we break up for vacation. The second is Friday the 19th, being two days after the end of the term as it will be before the majority our of cast go away. Finally, the evening of the 2nd and 3rd of January being a week before we get back to school is useful, especially as during the day the majority of our cast will be revising for mocks. Although an inconvenient time for many, by doing the filming this early on we will be able to spend more time in editing and go out and get more shots if needed, without the pressure of time. Specific locations for the dates will be decided at a later time.
